A seamless design experience
We firmly believe the process is just as important as the result. Our meticulous approach ensures you know exactly what to expect at every stage.
After the design consultation, clients decide whether to execute their project independently or to retain our services for full-service design. Though each body of work has a unique goal and scope, all projects move through the same, proven project experience, broken down into three phases.
Design consultations allow us to uncover your home's potential, help you create a comfortable budget, and provide knowledgeable design advice on all aspects of your home including: styling, color schemes, paint, room functionality, furniture, lighting, flooring, artwork, wall coverings and window treatments.
We're happy to provide our expert opinion on any topic you'd like to discuss especially your goals, questions, concerns and desired stylistic approach for your spaces. There's a lot of ground to cover, but don't stress about remembering everything. We'll leave behind detailed notes and, if necessary, sketches, inspiration photos, and samples.
After our meeting, you may feel empowered to tackle some or all of your plans independently. Or, you might prefer us to professionally execute your vision to completion. For clients considering full-service design, we'll provide a planning budget within a few days of our meeting. Most times, clients are surprised by the difference between what they thought their project would cost and what it actually does. That's ok! It's why working from an initial planning budget is critical to project success.
To best prepare, we encourage clients to share existing home photos, inspirational images and notes about what will be addressed at the consultation. Our goal is to provide as much value as possible during your all-access invitation to our design brains.

Beyond offering your input and approvals, clients trust key elements (budget, timeline, drawings, floor plans, contractor coordination, sourcing, selections, ordering, receiving, storage, delivery and installation) to us. Our signature project experience allows us to efficiently manage every aspect of your design plan from initial concept to completion.

We’ll start with a 20-minute project brief phone call. You’ll have a chance to fill us in on your project plans and we’ll ask each other initial questions.
Together we’ll decide whether it makes sense to move forward to the next step and, if so, we’ll set a date for an up to 2-hour paid design consultation (outlined above).
After the design consultation, clients decide whether they want to execute their plan independently or with our help through our full-service design program. Full-service design clients will receive a planning budget, based on their goals, which we’ll revise together. Once we agree on the planning budget, the contract is signed and the retainer is secured. Now, we’re officially a team! The onboarding takes place and the project begins!

step no. 1
The design development phase lasts about 6-8 weeks and is, by far, the most labor intensive time for the design team.
We’ll create digital mood boards, make furnishings selections and price out every item needed to bring your design to life.
At the presentation, we typically share physical material samples, floor plans/drawings and full pricing sheets so you know exactly how your budget is being spent. Clients tell us their favorite part is our 3D photorealistic renderings because it allows them to visualize their finished spaces right down to the smallest detail. To keep the timeline moving, we’ll collect a deposit for the items you’d like to order and get right to work on the purchasing phase.

step no. 2
During the final phase, it’s all hands on deck as the design team goes into hustle mode. We’re placing orders, confirming deliverables with suppliers, and managing on-site renovations. As maestros of minutiae, we sweat all the small stuff (like fronting vendor mishaps), so you don’t have to. While this may be the least sexy part of our work, these tasks are the most crucial to project success.
Our team works tirelessly to create a joyful and elegant reveal. Before clients arrive, the home is meticulously cleaned and styled with curated decorative accessories. While every reveal is unique, we're often met with laughter and happy tears; welcomed acknowledgements of a fulfilling collaboration.
