With an eye for color, balance and scale, Kristen specializes in creating modern classic interiors with an edge. To nurture her long-time passion for luxury spaces built for real life, she began her design career in marketing with one of the nation’s foremost interior designers and HGTV and Food Network television host, Taniya Nayak. Kristen credits much of her success to mentor Taniya, whose invaluable, selfless support and guidance catapulted Kristen into a thriving design career.
With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a dedication to helping clients live better in their homes, she founded Kristen Apicerno Interiors in 2020, and rapidly grew the business and her portfolio. Kristen’s commitment to creating warm, authentic and sophisticated interiors further evolved when she and her life-long best friend and fellow interior designer, Diane Landers, decided to join forces in 2024 to found Glass House Design Group.
At GHDG, Kristen takes great pride in perfecting a crystal-clear project experience and design concepts uniquely tailored to her clients’ lifestyles. Originally from Rhode Island, Kristen has lived in the Boston area for over 27 years. Spending her whole life in New England has fostered a deep appreciation for antique homes. Kristen is infatuated with historical residences and considers working in them to be an exciting challenge and privilege. She’s passionate about combining a soulful mix of old and new furnishings in each of her projects.
Kristen’s favorite job is her hardest, most rewarding one; mother of two young boys. She lives with her family and yellow rescue Lab, Lulu. When Kristen isn’t working, she’s probably hosting some sort of pool party, saving stray animals or cheering from the sidelines at one of her boys’ football, hockey or soccer games.

Diane has never been a rule-follower, especially when it comes to interior design. Her self-described design style- upscale with an intuitive mix of old and new - creates unexpected moments and brings the most interest into the home. A modern piece of art floating above an antique chest is just the kind of dichotomy Diane lives for.
Growing up in Rhode Island, Diane acquired her appreciation for antiques and all things New England. She fell in love with design at an early age while on school field trips to the Newport Mansions. She was fascinated with the architecture, history, and elaborate gardens.
After living in Miami and New York, fate brought Diane to Houston. Here, she spent several years working for Elle Decor "A-List" designer J. Randall Powers, an esteemed, luxury interior design firm. Working alongside the brilliance of Randy Powers and Christopher Alexander was like a design master class and Diane is forever grateful for the wisdom gained during that time.
On a girls' trip to New Orleans, Diane and her best friend of over 30 years, Kristen Apicerno, decided it was time to open their own interior design firm. Glass House Design Group was born and the rest is history in the making. Diane lives in Missouri City, TX with her husband, 2 young girls, and crazy dog Luna.

Though Lisa's path to interior design was anything but direct, it provided her with a wealth of relevant skills. In her seven-year career as a clinical social worker, she guided families through some of their most critical moments, helping them find comfort with themselves and each other. Learning what brings comfort to others would become crucial in this next chapter.
During this time, she moved to the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston, having fallen in love with its classic red brick Georgian architecture. It was here that her interest in interior design began, living in and decorating two condos and embracing the rich history of the neighborhood to its fullest.
After leaving Boston for the suburbs, Lisa and her husband Mark decided to build their own home and worked with a local design/build firm. Lisa enjoyed the process so much she went on to work for the firm, showing the model homes in two of their local developments. Talking with people about their home-buying dreams and walking them through different layouts only fostered her love of home and interior design.
Today, Lisa is thrilled to finally devote herself to an interest that has blossomed into a passion. Adding a touch of urban sophistication to every design while making homeowners feel comfortable and connected in their space is a joy she looks forward to bringing to every project. A New Jersey native, Lisa resides in Wrentham with her husband, two sons and a cockapoo named Milo who fill all her spare time with love, support and a steady stream of school and sporting events.

Taylor knew from an early age that learning through experience is essential to her success and happiness. Though studying business management at a local university was helpful, it didn't offer the hands-on involvement she craved. So, she postponed a traditional college education and jumped into the workforce as an account development specialist for a wholesale jewelry company; eventually managing accounts all over New England.
While she enjoyed her contact with customers and quickly learned the structure of the business, the pandemic resulted in layoffs that left her contemplating her next move. Fortunately, she didn't have to look far. Taylor's mother owns and operates a home decor and furniture store in Foxborough, MA and she began working there full-time. To her surprise, what started as a career pivot ended up revealing her true passion for interior design.
Taylor found she loved meeting customers, hearing their stories, and helping them find the perfect touches for their home. She particularly excelled in blending old and new pieces to create a timeless aesthetic. Meanwhile, Taylor gained firsthand experience in owning and operating a business that proved invaluable to her future goals.
Today, Taylor is a co-owner in her family's business and is learning the ins and outs of interior design as an assistant at Glass House Design Group. From sourcing the perfect furnishings for client projects to rolling up her sleeves on installation days, Taylor is thriving through experiential learning and immersing herself in the design world. When she's not working as a successful, twenty-something business owner or advancing her design career, Taylor lives her best life in Wrentham, MA with friends, family and her Mini-Aussie, Lola.
